The last weeks have been tough everywhere so I’d like to start this message by sending my best wishes to you and your family. Like most working from home, it’s business as usual for us at Messageware. And we continue to support all of our customers at this challenging time.
On that note, the Coronavirus pandemic is causing more businesses to become reliant on tools like Outlook Web to drive business communications with staff working from home. However, as an article in Infosecurity highlighted, we must be more vigilant. For the past year, the Russian threat group known as APT28 has been scanning the globe for exposed email and Microsoft Exchange Servers with Autodiscover services, putting your organization and people working from home at risk.
Earlier this year, we released Messageware Exchange Protocol Guard (EPG). EPG is designed to protect the key Exchange Server services and is ideally suited to protecting organizations with staff working from home. EPG monitors, records, analyses and provides you with alerts on all incoming Exchange login activity from all devices, is enhanced to secure all Exchange messaging services and maintains a lockout system independent of Active Directory.
I’ve included a link to an overview of EPG. And if you are interested in learning more about how EPG can protect your business, I’d be pleased to discuss further.
