Microsoft has confirmed that there are massive issues and outages across Exchange, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive. The company is currently investigating the cause of the outage and has not yet provided an ETA for when it will be resolved. In the meantime, users are experiencing problems with sending and receiving emails, accessing files, and using Teams. Microsoft has advised users to check the admin center for updates on the outage.
The outage began at around 11:30 PM EST on June 6th and has affected users around the world. Microsoft has said that the outage is due to a “potential networking issue” and is currently reviewing telemetry to determine the next troubleshooting steps. The company has also revealed that aside from Teams and Outlook, the outage also affected Azure, Intune, PowerBI, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Graph.
Microsoft has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the outage and is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. The company has said that it will provide updates on the outage via the admin center and social media.
In an recent update Microsoft confirmed that the outage has been fixed. The company said that it will continue to monitor the services to ensure performance stability. However, in another update at 4:23 PM EST, Microsoft said that the same issue has popped up again and is investigating the cause.
