“Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 helps users be more productive by delivering “anywhere access” to business communications through features like Outlook Web App,” said Ian Hameroff, Group Product Manager for Exchange partner marketing, Microsoft. “By working closely with Microsoft and the Exchange 2010 SP1 Beta, Messageware has built on the new features and functionality of SP1, offering Exchange customers the benefits of additional functionality and security for Outlook Web App.”

The combination of Messageware OWA Suite and Microsoft Exchange 2010 Outlook Web App provides a complete browser-based email solution. Organizations planning to deploy Exchange Server 2010 with the release of SP1can now leverage Messageware OWA Suite to further increase user productivity and security.

Messageware OWA Suite 2010 now includes Messageware CalendarPack 2010, which adds critical functionality to calendaring in Outlook Web App and the light version of Outlook Web App, including some of the most popular features found in desktop Outlook. For Outlook Web App users, CalendarPack 2010 delivers holiday file support, the ability to manage delegate rights from within OWA and advanced calendar search. Users of the light version of Outlook Web App also receive calendar reminders, notifications and meeting requests, as well as additional calendar views.

Messageware OWA Suite 2010 SP1 is a comprehensive and cost-effective solution consisting of seven award-winning security and productivity applications that seamlessly integrate with Exchange 2010. In addition to CalendarPack, it includes ActiveSend, AttachView, NavGuard, OWA Print, Plus Pack, and TimeGuard. With ActiveSend, CalendarPack, OWA Print and Plus Pack, the user experience is improved by making Outlook Web App more like the Outlook client, so emails and documents can be composed, sent and printed as easily as the desktop application. AttachView, NavGuard, and TimeGuard provide end-point security in Outlook Web App, adding additional layers of protection to OWA sessions, email accounts and documents.

“Many of our current customers and prospects have been eagerly anticipating the release of the first Service Pack for Exchange 2010 so they can upgrade and deploy Microsoft and Messageware together,” said Mark Rotman, President & CEO of Messageware. “In the coming months, we will be working with numerous enterprises throughout the world to realize the additional features and benefits in this latest version.”
